My First Flight

(click on image to enlarge and use back button to return to this page)

My Greatest Experience While Serving Aboard Enterprise was my first flight in an airplane.  The ship was part of the Cuban Blockade and after about five weeks crewmembers were allowed to go on leave.   Flying off the deck of the Enterprise was a real thrill.   The attached photo shows the type of plane I flew in.
