Medals, one silver and one bronze are a reproduction of the two and one half inch medallion issued September 24, 1960 to celebrate the Christening of the ship.  Left views have the inscription "USS Enterprise World's Largest Ship Worlds First Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier".  Inscription on right views "Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company Christened by Mrs. William B. Franke September 24, 1960 Newport News Virginia"
