Welcome shipmates and friends! The purpose of this web site is to be a venue to share my personal history with past and present shipmates and with anyone else who has an interest in my ship. My collection of memorabilia is for USS Enterprise CVN-65 and all past Naval ships named Enterprise. I do use the term "My Ship" with pride. I served on the Enterprise from 61-63 and as a member of the commissioning crew, I am a Plank Owner. This is a Navy tradition that dates back to wooden ships, when the commissioning crew was honored by owning a plank of the ship. Now 44+ years later, I'm very happy to say the love for my ship and the pride of my Plank Owner status is as strong as ever. As a non-recovered packrat, I began collecting Enterprise "stuff", now called memorabilia and artifacts, from the day I arrived. At the age of 18, I'm not sure I understood the value of what I was doing, but twenty five year later when I started sharing it with former shipmates it became priceless. From 1986 to 1992, I served as Historian of the USS Enterprise CVAN-CVN65 Association. I was the Committee Chairman for the exhibit we placed at the Patriots Point Naval Museum across the bay from Charleston, SC. So sit back and start clicking on the photos, patches, covers (envelopes), and lots more and enjoy. View Personal Photos
